Who We Are
Fully Briefed is an intelligence media network operated by Trevor Ryhorchuk. Each Fully Briefed publication covers a different policy domain — trade, local government, and others as they launch. What Information We Collect
When you subscribe to Fully Briefed, we collect your email address. If you choose to provide it, we may also collect your name and your industry sector or role (to help us tailor content). If you reply to our emails, we receive whatever information you choose to share in your message.
We do not collect payment information directly. If and when paid subscription tiers are offered, payment processing will be handled by a third-party payment processor (such as Stripe), and we will not store your credit card or banking details.
How We Use Your Information
We use your email address to send you the Fully Briefed newsletter and, if you have subscribed to paid services, any associated subscriber-only communications. We may also use your email to send you our welcome sequence when you first subscribe, and occasional service-related messages (such as changes to our terms or significant updates to the newsletter).
We use sector or role information, if provided, to understand our audience and improve the relevance of our content. We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to Fully Briefed without your consent.
How We Store Your Information
Your subscriber information is stored by our email service provider, beehiiv Inc., which is based in the United States. By subscribing, you acknowledge that your email address and any associated data will be transferred to and processed in the United States, subject to beehiiv's privacy policy and data protection practices.
We retain your subscriber information for as long as you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your email address is removed from our active mailing list. We may retain a record of your consent (the fact that you subscribed, when, and how) for up to three years after you unsubscribe, as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. Your email address and subscriber data are shared only with our email service provider (beehiiv) for the purpose of delivering the newsletter. If we introduce paid subscriptions, your payment information will be processed by a third-party payment provider and will not be shared with other parties.
Your Consent
By subscribing to Fully Briefed, you provide express consent to receive our weekly newsletter and related communications. We use a double opt-in process: after you enter your email address, you will receive a confirmation email and must click to confirm your subscription before receiving any newsletters.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send, or by emailing us at trevor@valueevolving.com. Unsubscribe requests are processed immediately.
Your Rights
Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Withdraw your consent to receive communications

Cookies and Analytics
Our landing page at fullybriefed.ca may use basic analytics (such as page views and referral sources) to understand how visitors find us. Our emails may contain tracking pixels that tell us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. This data is collected in aggregate by beehiiv and is used to improve the newsletter. You can disable image loading in your email client to prevent open tracking.
Children's Privacy
Fully Briefed is designed for business professionals and is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify subscribers via email before the changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
